It looks like there are marks on my bed linen?
Much of our range bed linen is made from the purest form of organic cotton, which hasn't been bleached nor dyed, and instead includes naturally occurring flecks throughout the fabric.
If you see darker marks on your bed linen, then please be assured this is also completely normal, and is not dirt on the fabric. This is what's known as ‘trash’. It is the tiny pieces of the organic cotton bolls, such as like leaves and twigs that are still attached to the cotton fibre when it is picked, and does not get fully filtered through in the ginning process.
Trash can be removed or disguised from cotton products (and is often done with harmful chemicals or toxins in non organic cotton), so if you prefer a more uniform look to your bedding or just don't like the natural 'colour', then our white percale organic cotton bed linen is eco-bleached, and our tawny everyday bed linen is dyed to a natural coloured grey-brown.
All our bed linen is certified to Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) which ensures any dying or bleaching processs are done without harmful toxins and in closed systems to protect local water supplies.
